We have the following
dates available in 2008:
Arenas:
Roping - 100' x 200' with rodeo
quality panels and height; holding pens, with water barrels, for cattle;
a release chute for calf roping, team roping, and breakaway roping; run
back alley for easier and quicker sorting and moving. The arena can
also be used for steer wrestling, chute dogging, barrel racing, pole bending,
and goat tying. Portable bleachers are available for spectator seating.
It can also serve as an extra warm-up arena for other shows.
We have a total of 233 stalls on the grounds at all times, plus space for 150+ additional stalls in covered barns. Indoor Dirt- 200' x 100' Mid-April to Mid-September. Leased to Mason City Youth Hockey Mid-September to April 1st (641-424-3547). Outdoor- 235' x 135' compliments the indoor dirt arena for warm-ups or two-ring shows. Heritage I- 300' x 200' on front lawn surrounded by white fencing. Invites driving, games, dressage, and hunter-jumper horse events. Heritage II- 145' x 285' beside Heritage I easily allows two classes of competition simultaneously. Stalls- Total of 223 on grounds, as follows: Davisson Barn- (annexed to the Stable) 10 9x9 semi-portable steels stalls. Draft Horse Barn- 28 10x10 steel stalls (14 back-to-back) Small Animal Barn- 12 10x12, & 40 9x9 portable steel stalls. Curran Barn- 27 10x10, & 30 9x9 portable steel stalls. Multiple Animal Outdoor Wash Rack- between the Swine Barn and Junior Barn. Please see the grounds map for details. In addition to our arenas and stabling options we offer: food concessions in Indoor Arena, which is open during show hours; 24-hour restroom facilities; camping facilities with electricity and a sanitary dump station; easy access location without driving through town or a lot of traffic; room accommodations, restaurants, service stations, and shopping nearby.
