This information sheet was made to help you prepare for sales at the North Iowa Fairgrounds. Please print and keep it for referral for important facts regarding all aspects of the sale. If something needs clarification, please call or write. We are also happy to accept suggestions for improvements.

SET-UP TIME: Friday: 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. NO SET UP BEFORE FRIDAY. SHOW IS NON-SMOKING.

SHOW HOURS: Friday: 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (optional); Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

SPACE ACCOMMODATIONS: You are renting space indoors, without a table, for the weekend. Tables may be rented for an additional fee. Please check reservation form. Space size is 8' x 10'. Some spaces have a back wall, others do not. If you wish to hang items from the walls, you must provide the material on which to do so.  NO nails, drilling, or other altering of the structure is allowed. Outdoor space is also available. Weekend fee is charged for all set-ups. We do not rent tables for outdoor use.

ITEMS NOT TO BE SOLD:  No pornography. No animals. Iowa State Firearms laws apply.

TABLES: Tables must be covered, preferably on all four sides. 8' x 30" tables are available @ $5.00 each per show.

TAXES: It is your responsibility to charge, collect, and pay the taxes on merchandise. If you wish to include the tax in the price of your item, you must have a sign stating that tax is included to conform to Iowa State Law. You may be asked at any time to show your Iowa Retail Sales Tax Permit or Number. Temporary permits are available from the Iowa Department of Revenue & Finance, 22 N Georgia, Mason City, IA 50401, or 1-800-367-3388, or from the show manager.

CLEAN UP: All exhibitors are required to leave spaces neat and free of trash and debris. Please dispose of all trash in the proper containers. Corrugated cardboard must be placed BESIDE, NOT IN dumpster.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations may be made by sending signed registration agreement and payment to North Iowa Fair, 3700 4^th St. SW, Mason City, IA 50401-1590 or filling out online form (see below).  You may also call Val or Dave Rhodus at 641-330-7735.  *Full space rental required as deposit on 1 and/or 2 spaces. One half space rental required on 3 or more spaces.  RESERVATIONS ARE HELD UNTIL 9:00 a.m. SATURDAY ONLY. ++Reservations MUST be paid for in advance for the flea markets in conjunction with the gun shows.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION: There are no refunds. If you are unable to do the sale, please notify us so we can fill all spaces. Your call or note to cancel will allow your deposit to be held for 60 days to be applied to a future sale within that time at this location.

SECURITY: We will lock the building at the end of show hours. We suggest that you remove all valuables and money at the close of business and cover your wares with opaque sheeting. If you wish to carry your own insurance for protection against loss and breakage, that is your choice.

PARKING: After items are unloaded for sale, please park across the street east of the building to leave prime parking for customers.
